The penultimate round of this seasons BRCA clubmans series took place at the Stafford circuit and was another successful event for XRAY UK team drivers.
With the F1 title already in his pocket Luke Lee was out for a demonstration run and added another victory to his already impressive run of results in this class.

In the 13.5 open class Markus Askell was hoping for better luck than at previous rounds, Markus had team mate Olly Jefferies as pitman preparing his car and Markus used one of Ollyâ™s body shells, Olly was repaying Markus for his efforts in netting Olly the national modified title this season, the combination worked well and Markus finished second overall after finishing on the same points as Liam Brooks, Liam took the overall victory on a quicker time in the first final, but the result sees Markus lead the class going in to the last round.

Our juniors were also on good form and rewarded for their fine efforts on the day
The championship now moves to the south coast for its final round at Eastbourne, Markus is in with a shot of the 13.5 title but he can expect a tough weekend with fellow contender Adrian Bidwell also in the hunt
The next race the Team will be at is the XRS GP at Cotswold MCC on the 2nd and I 3rd of September
